Dr. John Gomez
John Gomez, M.D., F.A.C.E.P. Board Certified, American Board of Emergency Medicine Graduate, Texas A&M University and University of Texas Health Science Center Emergency Medicine Residency at Scott & White Hospital. Dr. John Gomez has extensive experience in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care. He maintains a special interest in traumatic injuries, conscious sedation, and toxicology. He enjoys the continuity of care and forming relationships with his patients.

Anton V. Appelqvist, PA-C
Anton V. Appelqvist, PA-C Anton was born in St.Petersburg, Russia. He moved to Finland shortly thereafter with his twin brother. At the age of ten he moved the Pacific Northwest when his father,a family practice doctor, took a job there. Appelqvist completed his education in Portland, Oregon, with a degree in international business marketing. He moved to Dallas after a few years and decided that medicine was his true calling. He completed his PA training at UT Southwestern and Parkland Hospital. He worked at Denton Regional ER before joining our team at Rapid Med. Appelqvist is married to his wife Holly and has two young girls, Sofia and Angelina. He enjoys family time, movies, travel, and playing with his dalmatian Espresso.
William (Bill) Bono, PA-C
William (Bill) Bono, PA-C Bono has been practicing medicine for 12 years, working in the Emergency Department as well as with an Internist Group managing critical care patients. He found his love to be Emergency Medicine and Urgent care as well as Sports Medicine. Bono joined the Rapid Med Team in 2007. Bono has been married for 20 years and has 5 sons. His oldest son starts college in 2010.
Jennifer Bontreger
Jennifer Bontreger, DO, is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Primary Care Sports Medicine. She graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine/A.T. Still University, Kirksville, Missouri, in 2002. Bontreger completed her Internal Medicine residency at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York City, in 2005 and completed her fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine in 2009 at Christiana Care Health System in Wilmington, Delaware. Prior to her arrival to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Bontreger was a practicing Primary Care Sports Physician in Rockville, Maryland, and previously worked as a hospitalist and in an urgent care/primary care clinic. Throughout her career, she has always had an interest in sports and musculoskeletal-related illnesses and injuries, along with women’s health issues. Bontreger has provided sports coverage at various venues, including the Marine Corp Marathon in Washington, DC, The Pennsylvania Keystone State Games, the Delaware Marathon, Golden Gloves Boxing Tournament, Beast of the East Wrestling Tournament, along with multiple high school and college sporting events in Delaware and Maryland. Along with her husband, Dr. Robert Bontreger, an Emergency Medicine Physician, she have provided medical coverage for USA Boxing-PVA region since 2006. Bontreger provides medical care to those patients of adolescent age and adult patients.
