John Gomez, MD, FAAEM is a graduate of Texas A&M University and University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, TX. He is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He has worked in various emergency departments in Texas for over 10 years. He has special interests in sports and traumatic injuries, toxicology, and conscious sedation. Dr. John takes in active role in supporting LISD athletics and has been a team physician for Flower Mound High School since 2007.
Rebecca Gomez, MD is a graduate of Texas Tech University and University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, TX. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Becky has special interests in women’s health and preventive medicine. She enjoys being active in community health events and educating her patients on how to best maintain a healthy lifestyle. She is married to John , and they have two sons.
Anton Appelqvist is graduate from the physician assistant program at UT Southwestern in Dallas. Much of his training was at Parkland Hospital and surrounding community clinics. He had experience working in the ER before starting with Rapid Med in January 2009. He is a graduate from Portland State University in Portland, OR in international business studies. He has lived in Finland, San Francisco, Portland, and Las Vegas before settling in Dallas. He loves the people and sense of community that this area offers. He is married with two little girls, Sofia and Angelina. He speaks fluent Swedish.
William (Bill) Bono, PA-C Bono has been practicing medicine for 12 years, working in the Emergency Department as well as with an Internist Group managing critical care patients. He found his love to be Emergency Medicine and Urgent care as well as Sports Medicine. Bono joined the Rapid Med Team in 2007. Bono has been married for 20 years and has 5 sons. His oldest son starts college in 2010.
