Rapid-Med opened in Highland Village
on October 2, 2006, with the goal of delivering the best, most convenient medical care to our friends and neighbors. The response to our clinic has been phenomenal. Our extended hours make us more convenient than private practices, and we provide greater value than the hospital emergency room. We are dedicated to providing you with quality care quickly.
At Rapid Med we understand the busy lifestyles of our patients. Our convenient hours make it easy for you to get the quality medical care you deserve without the expense or long waits associated with the emergency room and other urgent care centers. Our Rapid Sign-In is easy and allows you to wait at home, at the office or wherever you have a phone.
We appreciate our patients. Our goal is to give every patient the best experience they have ever had in a doctor's office. Rapid Med is a family owned business. We enjoy getting to know our patients, and you won't see a different provider every time you come in to the office. We want you to experience the care and concern we have for your needs. Our excellent staff and caring providers strive to give you the best customer service you've ever had, and we believe that's what sets us apart.
Due to insurance company policies, Rapid Med is obligated to charge patients the Urgent Care Co-Pay. Many plans have no difference between the Office Visit and Urgent Care Co-Pay, and when they do it is often minimal.
Please note this is not the Emergency Room Co-Pay, and we still are in network with all plans (unlike all ER physician services). Aside from the co-pay for some clients, nothing has changed. We do provide many more services than a typical office does at a greater convenience level, and we do so at a similar expense. Your insurance plans treat urgent care much in the same way they do a regular office.
Rapid Med is still committed to giving you the same excellent level standard of care and the same great value. We appreciate your understanding. Please do not hesitate to ask management if you have further questions.
Rapid Med endeavors to provide value in urgent care services for those who are in between or without insurance coverage. We also have a discount for those patients with high deductible insurance.
